The Ontario Women’s Provincial Program brings together girls and women from across the province with the intent of fostering competition, development, leadership, and camaraderie among female wheelchair basketball players.

Team Ontario competes every year in the CWBL Women’s National Championships against other women’s club teams and provincial teams from across Canada. Development-identified female athletes are also encouraged to participate in the Défi Sportif, an annual multi-sport tournament held in Québec, as an opportunity to further their development and help strengthen the next generation of Ontario wheelchair basketball players.
